It's Monday! What Are You ReadingIt’s Monday! What Are You Reading?
Hosted by Book Date

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile!

I can’t believe it is almost Thanksgiving. I am dreading another holiday without my son, Kristopher. It has been just over 8 months since his death am still a blubbering mess several times a week. I know the next few weeks are going to be awfully hard. I am already trying to figure out how we are all going to get through it. I used to love decorating for Christmas but this year I would just skip it if I could. There are 3 little people that I need to put first and Santa always drops off plenty of presents at Nana’s and Papa’s. So I am thinking maybe a small tree but definitely no stockings. I can’t stand to have either one missing or filling Kris’s to not have it emptied and leaving it empty would be more than I can handle.

Here’s what I read and what I have planned for this week.

  1. I’m reading Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson which while fantasy has plenty of mystery too.
