The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.

It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.

SUNDAY POSTThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by
Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer
~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Happy SUNDAY Everyone!

This week was an emotional roller coaster. We enjoyed the long memorial day weekend and then mid week learned that a high school friend of Kris’ took his own life. All those memories came rushing back and I tried to find the right words to help his parents. Sharing that we lost our sons to suicide is so heartbreaking. My grandson Kaden came up  on Thursday night and his brother and mom joined us yesterday to go to a birthday party for my nephew’s little boy. It was great getting together and seeing family we don’t get to see as often as we would like.

My girls and my nephew.

  1. So sorry for the family. And for you and yours, Lori. I still send up prayers. It’s nice for family to visit and take you away from those memories again for a while. Blessed Day!

  3. Sorry for your hardships, but glad there was a ray of sunshine amongst the clouds. Take care.
