It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

This great meme is hosted by Sheila at
“Book Journey”.
It’s a great way to start the week and
find out what other bloggers are reading.
My To-Be-Read pile has grown to an
unbelievable number thanks to this meme.

I am so excited to be here!!!
Google did turn my accounts back on Friday night at 8 p.m.
with a one line email “This issue has now been resolved.”

But I have created the new blog and
love it and there will be no turning back.
I have learned change is a good thing!

I hope you will all help me by spreading the word.
Dollycas is back!
With a cleaner, leaner site, but still the same
Book Reviews, Recommendations,
Random Thoughts & Giveaways!!

What follows is for 2 weeks.
I spent a lot of time creating this site and picking myself up, dusting myself off
and moving forward with the help of some
very good friends and a couple new ones too.

But I was able to get a little reading in too!

  1. I have to admit I wish your giveaways were open to me here in Australia (though I understand why they aren’t ). I love cosies, you have some great ones to read this week – enjoy!

  2. It must have been a headache and quite nerve wracking setting up the new, good looking blog.

You are here now, Good Luck in your new blog 🙂

    have a great week

Ps have been tweeting your new blog for you

  3. Cemetery Girl looks really interesting! I haven’t heard of most of these, which I love so I can add some books to my tbr list 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog!

And the new website is really cute!

  4. Congratulations on the new blog! I’m digging the beach theme 😀
Thanks for stopping by my blog and happy reading!

  5. You have been very busy! It looks very nice and neat. Hope you’ll be happy with your new blog.

I love the button for the read-a-hon – I’m going to do the 24h readathon on Saturday but this button is SO nice… I’m almost tempted to join in. 😉

  6. Love the new look and I found it loaded faster too. Will update my reader. Lots of lovely books – the cover of Cemetery Girl catches my eye.

Have a great reading week and enjoy the readathon.

  7. Great books you’ve read the past week! This blog looks awesome! Neat and cute! Enjoy your books and have a great week.

  8. Thank you for stopping by earlier. My favorite read this week is Pirate King by Laurie R. King. This week I want to finish How to Party with a Killer Vampire by Penny Warner. Please come see what else I’m reading.

  9. What a great line-up! Most of these titles are on my TBR list!

The blog looks great! I love how clean it is!
    Welcome back to blogging! 😉
    + New follower ;D

  10. The new blog looks good! I love the flip flops down here on the bottom of the page! Doesn’t it feel good to sit back and just admire your hard work? I am participating in the Dewey’s Readathon but will have to check out the one you are participating in. I’m ready for a good long readathon! I’ll bet you are too!

  11. Your blog looks great! Thanks for visiting my blog. I love all your mysteries. The Pumpkin Muffin Murder has to be great if it is anything like pumpkin muffins. I love them. The only thing better is maybe a pumpkin frycake from Wegman’s.

  12. Your site looks amazing!! I so know what you mean about change too – sometimes it’s scary and frustrating but it turns out for the best.

  13. Wow! What a hassle and how awful! I’m so sorry for all the mix up with Google, but it looks like you’ve made the best of it because the new site looks fantastic! Congrats on the new digs and keep up the fabulous reading! 🙂

  14. I actually like this blog much better. The other took quite a while to load for me, and this was lickety split loading! I know that you’ve been busting your bum, though, trying to get everything transferred and all that, so I hope the bulk of your work is completed so you can take a break!

    1. Julie, I had two wonderful helpers help me over the bumps. The worst day was yesterday when I learned the feed wasn’t working and saying goodbye to all the old followers and hoping they will all find me again. Happy today to see the number joining rising.
