We woke up to a little snow on the ground this morning in Wisconsin which made me happy. Mid-December and no snow was just plain weird and it was hard trying to get in the Christmas spirit. That being said, Dear Mother Nature, this is the perfect amount of snow, just enough to make things white and pretty but not enough to make travel dangerous or make everyone have to shovel their way out. There are probably kids that are wishing for more for playing and sledding and adults wishing for more for skiing and snowmobiling but for me the amount is just right.
What are you plans for the weekend? Shopping? Decorating? Relaxing? Normal Weekend Chores? Reading?
We hope to do a little decorating. Our grandson is having a sleepover here tonight. The first since he and his mom moved to their own place so that should be fun. Of course, the Packers play tomorrow so we will be watching that. I am also reading a really cute, interesting book, The Meerkat Wars by H.S. Toshack, that I can’t wait to finish.
Is it snowing where you are? How much snow is the right amount for you? Do you live somewhere nice and warm where a December without snow is normal?
So tell me what you are up to this weekend. Something fun I hope!!

Finished my Christmas shopping. Have a sick cat. Had to have tests. Has diabetes. So been a busy weekend already and it’s only Sat. LOL. We had snow near Madison too. Very pretty. Was slippery early this morning. Almost forgot got to go out for breakfast which is a treat.

We have had snow here in Rhinelander for some time now. Received a little more today. We need to have more than we do though for tourism. Snowmobilers and skiiers need the stuff…lol Happy Holidays!!
