This great meme is hosted by Sheila at
“Book Journey”.
It’s a great way to start the week and
find out what other bloggers are reading.
My To-Be-Read pile has grown to an
unbelievable number thanks to this meme.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, we sure did. Quite eventful and I will share more throughout the week. It sure cut into my reading time. 🙂
I have to share one story with you. Most of you know we have 3 cats. Last week Thursday I went into the living room to find Morrie (Professor Moriarty) wrapped around the top of tree, right below where the angel should have been, sound asleep. About halfway down Dr. Watson was stretched between the branches wide awake, obviously the “lookout”. Sherlock was laying on the tree skirt also sound asleep. First I thought, awww how cute, then Watson saw me and made a beeline out of the tree, upsetting both the others so that the tree while still mostly upright was leaning quite a bit to the left and most of the ornaments were on the floor and the angel was hanging on only by her cord upside down. My son Jayme heard the commotion and came up and made an executive decision. He put the tree in the spare bedroom, shut the door and said he would fix it on Saturday. We were both laughing so hard. Below is the picture of how my son fixed our tree.
Yes, that is construction caution tape instead of my beautiful lace garland. He found it in the garage from our old home building days and thought it was more appropriate than the lace after the kitty chaos.

I’m still on vacation but I’ve caught a cold. I’ve been too sick to get much reading done. Please come see what I’m reading.
Cute story about the cats and I love the caution tape! It Takes a Witch looks cute.
I started The Hidden Man a year ago but got distracted and never finished. Maybe I’ll pull it back out.
Enjoy your last week in 2011. I’ll visit during your blogoversary!
Delightful cozies! Thanks for sharing….and for visiting my blog.
My cats are under the tree but; this year I toke in a stray kitten and he decided that the tree was his so inside he would climb. Well actually everything is his. LOL. I love cat stories. And your tape story is comical. Sounds like a lot of good books there. I put all my Christmas stuff away and rearranged my house so I am ready for my new Smart TV when it arrives. LOL.
