This great meme is hosted by Sheila at
“Book Journey”.
It’s a great way to start the week and
find out what other bloggers are reading.
My To-Be-Read pile has grown to an
unbelievable number thanks to this meme.
It was another fine week around here. I read more than I thought I would. I can’t believe how many wonderful books I have read already in just the first month of 2012. I have also added 11 states and 2 countries to my Where Are You Reading Map.
I am also branching out with my reading genres. Horror and Sci-fi are still genres I do not really enjoy but I am warming up to some types of paranormal fiction. As long as the story doesn’t include vampires, werewolves or the undead, I am willing to try to reading it. Seems I have grown to enjoy some ghosts and witches 🙂 So you will probably see a wider selection of books to “escape into” including some romance, comedy, adventure and historical. I hope you continue to enjoy your travels with Dollycas.
I want to remind everyone that you have until midnight on January 31 to join the Just For Fun Challenge. Follow this link to the GoodReads Group to join. Only those with a folder accepting the challenge will be eligible for the Challenge giveaways and prizes. The group will close to members at midnight January 31.

Thanks for stopping by Laurel!!
I am going to put down many of these titles thank you. I am also going to send you some warm weather thoughts.
warm would be so good.
I don’t mind reading about ghosts either. They can be intriguing sometimes. Not sure I believe in them but they do make for great story lines!
It’s funny I never really thought about the paranormal stuff until it started popping up in all the cozies.
After reading quite a lot in the weekend, I have had hardly any time on Monday! Annoying. Maybe a little more tonight. Have a good week!
