The hosts for the wickedly wonderful weekend of reading are
Rebecca From Kindle Fire
and
April of My Shelf Confessions.
I enjoyed their last Read-A-Thon back in October so much and this one could not come at a better time. I am feeling a little buried by books at the moment so hopefully with a weekend dedicated to reading I can squeeze in a little more reading time.
I am posting this today because there is still time to sign up. Just click on one of the links above and join the fun.
You read as much as you can in order to get yourself a little further through that huge to-read pile! We know real life gets in the way and even if you can’t participate more than one day, you’re welcome to join in on the fun!
In the meanwhile, there will be book-related challenges by the hosts where you can win some awesome prizes and there will be a Twitter party at the hashtag #WWReadathon! You can post updates on your blog, Twitter, Goodreads or Facebook — as long as the profile is public and we all can enjoy your reading progress!
I will keep updating this post as the Read-A-Thon starts to document my progress. I will be happy if I can just read one more book than I had planned for this week but 2 or 3 would be better 🙂
Right now the are 72 people participating. I hope you are able to join in on the fun!!!
UPDATE: Friday, February 3 – I have started Avalanche Pass (A Jesse Parker Mystery)
UPDATE: Sunday 11:00 a.m. Finished Avalanche Pass last night – Really good.
Started Dodge the Bullet this morning!
Finished this one after the game.
So I completely 2 books during the Read-A-Thon. Wish it would have been more.
So glad you posted this. Thank you. sssssshhhh..but isn’t this the big football weekend? If it is, even better!! Since I’m not allowed to go into the family room or talk (lol) …can you tell I’m not a sports fan…this will be perfect for me. Thank you again, wouldn’t have known about it if you hadn’t posted about it.
No Packers playing so I won’t be watching 🙂
hmmmm….supposed to be rainy this weekend here – sounds like a perfect weekend for this!
This is about the only time that I wished my hubbie liked football! I really need a readathon. I have had so many doctor appointments lately that I haven’t had much time for reading. Gee have a dental appointment on Friday.
