She is a fantastic artist… funny thing though, when my youngest daughter started out in her career as a graphic designer she worked for a company in NYC that designed stamps for foreign countries. She won a number of awards for her work also. It’s an amazing field of art to be in. You’re working in an area no larger then 1×2″ and put so much detail into some of them.
Wow! Kudos! Her work is amazing!! Believe it or not, I never really thought of the work that goes into making a cover. My sister was also a very talented artist. Me, not so much. I have trouble drawing a circle.
I wish publishers would make more of an effort to give credit for the book cover designs. My wife is an artist so I am very interested in all aspects of art. GREAT post … thanks for sharing again.

I volunteer at a science fiction convention art show. In this capacity, I often get to see original cover designs. Sometimes, I can recognize who the artist is from the cover if it is someone with a certain style or who likes to do certain covers. I also have the habit of looking inside books if I see a cover I like to see if I know the artists. Since, I do like the bookstore books, it means I have at least a few of Teresa’s covers. I will have to look for her name, when I pick up books before I buy them. A good artist can help sell books. I love what is shown.
Hi Rachelle, This sounds like a fun job, you just have to know how to paint and I don’t. lol The book covers shown are great. I had never thought that much about the Cozy covers but all that I seen in person are great. I do check out the covers when I am shopping for books.
Thanks for coming by today to share your work and chat.
