Happy Monday!!
Great picks! I especially liked Fathers and Daughters performed by Kristin Chenoweth. Whitney Houston was power house of a performer. It’s sad to hear the news when someone dies unexpectedly. I love the song you picked her singing -beautiful!
Excellent choices as usual, Dolly! 🙂 I hadn’t heard the Kristin Chenoweth one – love it! And all the others, too. So sad about Whitney, isn’t it? May she R.I.P.
Love Like Crazy because you’re Hip To My Heart When You Say My Name so I Will Always Love You
I hope Whitney finds a better place!
My partner was stunned when she heard the news about Whitney’s death. Eighteen years ago she was working in NJ as a home care nurse specializing in high risk pregnancies. Whitney was one of her patients.
Those are some amazing love songs! Great choices.
Great songs. I loved that movie that Whitney was in. She could really sing.
Girlfriend you’re just getting to good at this. You should start charging admission. Sorry I’m here so late, but it’s been one of those days of therapy and moving slowly & then so tuckered out it was nap time & I can’t wake up. Just listen to all these fine wonderful songs you picked. I love that scene to with Whitney. I was so sad when I heard the news. I wonder if her daughter has the gift. hmmmm Well HAPPY VALENTINES DAY My Friend & see you next week. Don’t forget if you have any particular theme you’d like to do just let me know.
Whitney was and still is a true inspiration in my life with her beautiful songs. I love your song choices this week, especially “Fathers and Daughters”. It’s really a different kind of love not to forget. Have a lovely week 🙂
Oddly enough…I have never heard any of those songs. The artists, yes, the songs no. Thanks for sharing!

She really did have the most beautiful voice on the planet, didn’t she? ::sigh::
