The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
So Happy Sunday Everyone!
My daughter Katy is celebrating her 4th Mother’s Day and my daughter-in-law Amber is celebrating her first. Hard to believe it has 27 years since I celebrated my first Mother’s Day. The years fly by so fast. There is no greater joy on the earth than being a Mom! I hope all you Moms have a very happy day!!
This past week I reviewed some excellent books and one that just wasn’t my “cup of tea”.
Midnight in Peking by Paul French was interesting but was just overloaded with too much stuff, description, details, dates of happenings away from the mystery. It just wasn’t for me.
The Naked Gardener was my favorite book of the week followed closely by Monkey Wrench. Terri Thayer was here for Cozy Wednesday and she is giving away a copy of Monkey Wrench so be sure to enter to win.
Final Sail by Elaine Viets and Life Without Parole by Clare O’Donohue rounded out my week of reviews. There is a giveaway for two copies of Life Without Parole as well.
I finished the Cruzin’ Thru The Cozies Challenge and the Finish The Series Challenge. With those complete and it only being May I added one more challenge this week. I am having so much fun with the A-Z Challenge, just 3 letters to go, that I am going to try the Read Your Name Challenge. The books have to be read in order. I read my first book this week.
This was the week all the new cozies arrived that are coming out next month plus some other books made their way to my door.
My June Reading Schedule is fully booked!! 🙂
The Get Caught Reading Contest runs until May 31. There is still time to send me a picture of yourself “Caught Reading”.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Finally home from “the big trek north” and wanted to pop in and wish you a Happy Mother’s Day!!
Ooh, you have some lovely books! I’ve preordered the Nancy Thayer title…can’t wait!
It’s been 44 years since I first celebrated Mother’s Day! How did those years fly by?
Today, my daughter is celebrating her 9th Mother’s Day. We’re enjoying brunch together with her son.
Have a great day!
Here’s MY SUNDAY SALON POST
Happy Mother’s Day!!
Congratulations on finishing another challenge!! I still have many letters to go on my A-Z Challenge, it seems that all the titles I have read and reviewed, all have the same letters. Will have to check out your challenge page.
Sounds like a good week! Happy Mother’s Day!
Happy Mothers Day!
Lots of great books are on your list! =)
