The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
So Happy Sunday Everyone!
It was quite a week in Wisconsin. You probably heard me shouting wherever you are Monday night as I was so happy when Green Bay Packer Donald Driver won Dancing With The Stars. He was a smooth dancer, is a great competitor and a wonderful man.
Now let’s talk books!
Monday I did my usual It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? meme. I also learned how dependent I was on the host Sheila. She was away for the day without internet access and was not able to post her link up post until Monday night. I traveled around visiting many blogs from memory, bookmarks and blogs I follow but found myself stumped after that without her linky list. I know I should have scrolled back a week but my pea brain didn’t think of that right away. 🙂
Tuesday I was host for the virtual book tor of Skewered Halo by Brenda Youngerman. This story is excellent but made the mother in me furious. The author is allowing me to give away an e-copy so be sure to enter the giveaway.
Cozy Wednesday brought author Bailey Cates and her brand new series to Escape With Dollycas. Brownies and Broomsticks: A Magical Bakery Mystery is a charming cozy and I am giving away 2 copies.
Thursday I reviewed Blackberry Summer and Woodrose Mountain by RaeAnne Thayne. These were a wonderful break from the mysteries I usually read.
Friday brought Mr. Dollycas as a guest reviewer for the virtual book tour of Back Channel by William Bertram MacFarland.
Saturday I reviewed Deadly Currents by Beth Groundwater. Beth will be guest posting here on Cozy Wednesday this week as the second book of the series, Wicked Eddies (An RM Outdoor Adventures Mystery), was released this month. I will be giving away a copy.
I am also participating in the Splash Into Summer Giveaway Hop! I am giving away a copy of Blackberry Summer by RaeAnne Thayne and Final Sail by Elaine Viets.

I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day WEEKEND!!
Have a great Memorial Weekend!! Oh and btw…I did hear you, matter of fact, all your screaming woke me up lol.
You’ve had a very productive week! I hope you enjoy the weekend…and Blackberry Summer looks like a must-read.
Here’s MY SUNDAY SALON POST
Have a good weekend, Lori!
I reviewed Woodrose Mountain and enjoyed it, but I really wish I had read Blackberry Summer first. I still need to read that one. I have it on my Nook, but my review schedule is crazy like everyone else’s.
Have a great week!
