This great meme is hosted by Sheila at
“Book Journey”.
It’s a great way to start the week and
find out what other bloggers are reading.
My To-Be-Read pile has grown to an
unbelievable number thanks to this meme.
It was a crazy week and that really cut into my reading time, but we know family comes first always. Saturday I attended a party celebrating my brother and sister-in-laws 40th Wedding Anniversary.
It was a wonderful day seeing family we definitely do not see often enough. The hard part was earlier in the week as our oldest son has moved home as he and his wife are talking divorce. As a mom, you just want to step in and make everything better. In this case you just have to be supportive and let them work it out. Baby Natalie is very confused and doesn’t get to spend as much time as she needs with her daddy but hopefully going forward things will get better. Prayers are always welcome 🙂
Now let me share what I accomplished and my plan for this week.

I had one of those weeks … only finished one book. Sounds like you had a lovely family get together but watching your children no matter how old, go through hard times is always difficult, hope they sort it out with as little trauma as possible. Thinking of you all.
Happy reading
I’m currently reading The Age of Desire. Not sure if I’ll finish it as I really dislike books in present tense.
Divorce is even more difficult for a family when children are involved. I hope that despite their differences they can both focus on what’s best for their child. You will all be in my prayers. I’m sure as a mom and grandma you are having a lot of heartache.

I want to read Calamity Jayne, too. It looks good. So does the Rebecca Hale book. I enjoyed the first books in her series.
