My To-Be-Read pile has grown to an
unbelievable number thanks to this meme.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Feeling a bit overwhelmed this week. The days are rushing by and there are so many books waiting to be read. I have to spend less time at this darn computer and more time curled up with a book 🙂 but I love visiting all the blogs and that darn Facebook just keeps screaming my name. Plus my DVR is being replaced because the fan is not working and it overheats so we have been having marathons watching all the shows we have recorded with breaks for when the machine powers down. I have recorded every episode of Elementary to watch with Mr. Dollycas in edition to several Castle episodes, Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods and both CSI’s. Usually we catch up on all during the summer or on weekends. But we never expected the machine to have issues and never thought we would lose all these shows. We have learned our lesson and won’t stock them up like this in the future. We are now up to date on Castle, Blue Bloods and CSI New York, but we only had a couple of each of those to watch. We spent yesterday all wrapped up with Sherlock Holmes and Watson and made quite a dent in those recordings. I did do a little reading as well along with all the regular weekend chores.

  I know we are trying to watch what we have recorded but the cooling fan isn’t working so it overheats every few hours. So the chores get done while the machine is cooling down. Funny we accomplished quite a bit this weekend.

Every time I see your Monday posts I get jealous. I just can’t seem to focus on my reading the way I used to. I get distracted. I would be horrified if the DVR went out, but it might be good for the not reading enough issue.

I hear you, too many books and not enough hours in the day, and i don’t seem to read at the pace I used to so it’s so easy to get behind. Facebook, SongPop, Pinterest should all be banned lol. Good luck getting back on track 🙂
