Was it a hot and humid week for you? It was awful here and I missed the central air in our old house so much. I found myself escaping to the bedroom that had a room air conditioner but I kept dozing off instead of doing my planned reading.
We had a little break from the heat over the weekend
but tomorrow is supposed to be another scorcher.

I have read Mum’s the Word and need to get moving on that series. 🙂 I’ve read and reviewed Murder at Castle Rock, it was a fun read! The heat has finally let up here, at least the humidity is slightly lower and there isn’t a head advisory every day anymore!
Its been hot here in KS the past week! We have been staying home during the “hot part” of the day…. =)
I’m reading “Iced Chiffon” by Duffy Brown on my Kindle, and Im also reading “The Wanderer” by Robyn Carr.

I do not so well in hot weather and I stayed inside all week last week. But at the end of this week I plan to head up north where our cabin is and be there for a couple of weeks because kids are coming to visit. But there is no central air there. Only a window unit that needs to go into my bedroom window so it blocks good air on cooler nights. I don’t like summer…
