The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Happy Sunday Everyone!!!
When we had to move back in May my Regal feline assistants were placed with friends and family. The dogs were welcome in this new house and after a few months of adjustment – the have stopped looking for the cats and have become used to be with me here while everyone else goes to work. We have moved a love seat into my office area and they keep a close eye on me when they aren’t protecting the neighborhood barking out the window.

Looks like another great week behind you…and ahead, too. That cozy loveseat has obviously been taken over by the dogs…does anyone else get to sit there?
I once had a cat that claimed a corner of my loveseat. Her indentation remains….
Enjoy your week…and here’s MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES
The photo of your dogs is so sweet! =)
Im enjoying the new book by Kylie Logan!
So you threw the cats away but kept the dogs? The poor cats! They must be distraught wondering what the did to deserve being tossed out. Cats do not adjust to new homes. I could never choose between pets, they are family to us. If anyone where I was moving wanted me to make a choice I would never move there. How awful! Poor cats What kind of horrible cruel people do you live with that would want you to make a choice and how could you!! That is a horrible thing to do to animals that were devoted to you. I am shocked and will not read your blog any longer as I am a true animal lover and do not believe that pets are disposal.
Alexis,
We did not throw out the cats. It was a hard decision to make, believe me it was not done lightly. They are all fine, healthy and happy. Had we been able to find a place to all stay together we definitely would have. We had less then 3 weeks to find a place to live and several hard decisions were made.
Your dogs look quite comfy. 😀
I have The Thursday Morning Breakfast (And Murder Club) in my pile too. I’m looking forward to it.
Happy reading!
They look so cute and content. Hugs to you Lori. I am sure that was a hard thing to do in that short amount of time. Hugs. Hoping the rest of the year is great for you.
