Can Miss Julia spring J. D. Pickens from a sheriff’s clutches and investigate a cult — plus keep up appearances as a proper Southern lady? Miss Julia simply can’t abide sitting idle. With young Lloyd moving out and husband Sam off to the Holy Land for two weeks, she’s feeling restless already. Maybe it’s time for that overdue home makeover. But before she can pick a color scheme, Miss Julia must race to the rescue of Hazel Marie’s new husband. J.D. has gone missing while on his latest private investigation job, and West Virginia police have detained an injured man fitting his description.
Both were truly fun reads! and because they were read JUST FOR FUN there is no pressure of a review, just pure enjoyment.

Now that I am retired, all my reads are just for fun!
The last thing I read “just for fun” was a piece of spam email about a girl from Russia who needed my help. Epic mistake.
I haven’t been part of the reading challenge, but these all look like great reads to add to my list.

I did better this year than I did last year, but I am still six books behind. I plan to try again next year, so thanks for hosting this challenge even though I can’t seem to keep up!
I love the Miss Julia books! I even listened to one on audio, it was really good.
I wasnt able to participate in your challenge this year, but I have enjoyed it in a previous year.
This is one challenge that I have tried my best to keep up with and had not had to catch up.
