A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
This year has just slipped by in the blink of an eye. My year’s end I will have read about 200 books and am now trying to put together my Best Reads of 2013 and it is really tough. I read so many great books it is hard to say just a few were the best.
It is also that time of year to start thinking about Reading Challenges for next year. I didn’t complete all of mine this year but will post a wrap up next week. Since starting Great Escapes Book Tours I have lost a little of my reading time so I am going to challenge myself a little less in 2014 so I am reading books I really want to read and enjoy instead of grabbing something just to fulfill a challenge. I will again be hosting the JUST FOR FUN READING CHALLENGE. I haven’t made a decision yet about the A – Z Reading Challenge because last year I stepped on another blogger’s toes. I had searched and searched and couldn’t find that she was hosting it only to receive an email in January voicing her displeasure. Again this year, the link to her blog leads to a general search page so I don’t know if she is still blogging or not.
A site I love to help me plan my challenges is A Novel Challenge. There are so many different challenges out there and this a great resource. I will be posting in the next few days the exact challenges I will be participating in.

Re; A-Z: She seems to have stopped posting anything since she started working. The name of the blog was up for grabs. I also could not find Read-A-Lotta blogger. I love the A-Z and may challenge myself to it.
You read alot of books this year! That’s great. I love the A-Z Reading Challenge, even though I didn’t finish it. I’ve been searching for other A-Z challenges, but haven’t been able to find any.
