Sunday Salon/Sunday Post – Speechless – Weekly Rewind – Mail Call

The Sunday

The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.

It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.

SUNDAY POSTThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

This past week the big envelope of cozy mysteries arrived for March. As always hubby opens and stacks them on my desk so I can enter them into my book spreadsheet and set up my reading schedule. It was a busy week so they sat here until yesterday when I logged them in. When I got to Keeping Mum by Alyse Carlson I screamed for my daughter who came rushing downstairs. All I could say was “um” “um” “um” and handed her the book. I was absolutely speechless.  Escape With Dollycas is quoted on the cover!!!!!!!! I was just a little excited!!! It is a wonderful series!!! I can’t wait to read this one and then put it somewhere for safekeeping!! 🙂

  1. Holy cow!!! Major congrats on the cover quote!!!!

And the series is that good? I’ve got the first one, but I still haven’t read it yet. Won it in a contest and never got around to it. So many books, so little time.

  2. Congrats! How cool especially since it was unsolicited. Have to confess, I’m guilty of having the first on my iPad TBR group. Guess I’d better get at it so I can read Keeping Mum!

  3. Woohoo! Congratulations. And that is one stunning cover — especially with your blog name on there. .
