The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Spring is coming to Wisconsin and sadly with that comes grass fires. This was the scene just outside of town on Friday. The fire was started by someone burning trash or leaves and the wind picked up and the fire was quickly out of control. The fire covered 600 acres, luckily no one was injured and no homes were damaged. Smoke closed down a highway and that and the flames could be seen for miles. My dad was a fireman and I grew up with him telling stories how small little fires can because huge fires in seconds and him explaining to people why he would not issue burning permits on days like Friday. While watching the news last night I learned that there were 9 similar fires throughout southern Wisconsin on Friday. You can watch the TMJ Video here.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!!

We’re in Northern Wisconsin and haven’t dealt with fires in ages. I didn’t realize they were happening down south. Take care, stay safe 😀 And happy reading of course!
Here in California, we do have wildfires, especially in the LA area…although in our foothill areas here in Central California, we also have them. They are frightening.
Enjoy your reading…love the look of A Dollhouse to Die For. Here’s MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES
How awful about the fires. It sounds scary.
Enjoy your books…I have many of those cozies waiting for me too.
Have a great week!
So awful about the fires. We had a big one here a couple of years ago and it was just unreal. We normally don’t have to worry about things like that so they brought in people from other places to help out.
Great haul this week. Happy reading!
