unbelievable number thanks to this meme.
What a crazy week last week was. My youngest son turned 22, we celebrated my youngest grandson’s birthday at a party with his cousin,Jack turned 2 this past week and Remi turns 2 on December 20, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and today brings Cyber Monday.
The online shopping I have done so far has been aggravating more than fun. On Friday my son talked about some DVD’s he wanted. I headed right to Amazon to see if they were available and then messaged him to make sure I was getting the right format, not blue ray. By the time he messaged me back the prices had all changed. One was lower but the other 2 doubled in price, no longer on sale. The same thing was happening with books I was looking at for the grand nieces and nephews. I was searching and adding to my cart as I found ones that sounded good and was planning to parry them down before I placed my order and the prices kept jumping like crazy. Some by just a few cents but some by dollars.I know some of their special sales last only an hour but I was looking at books and movies, not big ticket items. Things you just don’t just click and buy.
I was also disappointed at the larger stores including Amazon not using PayPal as a payment method. We recently paid off all the credit cards and I hate thought of using them even for a month. Plus I like the extra protection with all the cyber theft happening these days! Online shopping is great to miss all the crowds and the driving all over, I just wish it wasn’t such a game with all the price changes. You either click fast to get what you think is a good deal only to have the price drop or have the product arrive and it not be what you expected or take a few minutes to think about the purchase and miss out on a good price. Maybe I should just give everyone gift cards and let them handle the frustration. 🙂
