The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Happy SUNDAY Everyone!
Yesterday marked 5 months without my son Kris. Acceptance is far away, each day is struggle. Just doing what I can each day for the people that I love here on earth, but my angel in heaven never leaves my thoughts.
Going to have a “me” day today. Spending time with my grandsons, will watch the NASCAR race and curl up with a good book.

Treasure your “me day” Lori. My thoughts are with you and your family:)
Good idea to have a “me” day”. Take care, friend.
HI Lori. Hope you had a good “me” day, and can come out fighting. My sister lost her 17 year old son on June 30, 1997 (car accident). That is also my youngest sister’s birthday, so it makes for an interesting day all the way around. She and her husband joined Compassionate Friends (for parents who have lost children) at that time, and they are still active in the group. Donna says it does get easier with time, but it will never go away. I pray for them and you, and hope that time will help you too. Hang in there, and know we are thinking of you and yours.
