The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.

A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Happy SUNDAY Everyone!
I hope you all had a great week. We survived the big snow. It arrived a little later than expected but when it started it really came down making visibility pretty awful. Mr. Dollycas came home early and worked from home. Daughter #2 found someone to take her shift so she could stay home. Depending on where you were you got either sleet or up to 12 inches of snow. We had about 6 inches of blowing snow. Those are the days I am so glad I don’t have to leave the house. It’s hard to realize it has been almost 16 years sine I have been able to drive. This week looks to be typical Wisconsin weather. 30’s and sunny one day, below zero and cold the next, with snow thrown in occasionally 🙂

It’s wonderful you were all able to be safe at home during the storm. It seems like a mild winter until one of the big ones blow through. Living on the Gulf Coast, I haven’t dealt with one in 30 years but can still empathize:) I enjoyed your posts this week, Lori. Always fun! And looking forward to the upcoming tours.

Glad to hear you weathered the storm (sorry about the pun)! There’s something nice about being to stay warm and snug indoors while the snow comes down, though, isn’t there?
