I spend a lot of time at my desk, writing reviews and working on book tours. This room is in the middle of the house without much access to daylight. The ceiling light is fine but why light up a whole room when you only need light in a small area. I needed a good desk lamp and this one more than fit the bill. Unlike a previous desk lamp, this one takes up very little space and is so adjustable to fit my needs. The long neck reaches above my computer screen perfectly.

What I really love is this touch pad panel. 

The base is touch sensitive with 4 light modes:

Sun Face: Reading Mode: ( 4,500-5,500K Color Temperature )

The reading mode stimulates concentration and reduces eye strain…This is the setting I use the most.

Happy Face: Study Mode: (5,500-6,500k Color Temperature )

This mode is said to help you study more effectively by increasing attention and concentration.
