It was a busy week here. On Wednesday, Mr. Dollycas has his cervical spine surgery. I spent the whole day until about 11:30 p.m. at the hospital until he got up and walked to the door and back. Then I knew he would be o.k. He was able to come home on Thursday about noon. He was very energetic that first day and Friday morning, no real pain anymore in his arms and legs but can’t lay down yet to sleep and can’t get comfortable in his recliner. I expected it wasn’t going to easy sailing at first as we were told there was a 3-6 recovery time. He just wants to be able to do everything right away, lol.
Saturday, the grandchildren came to see Papa and my daughters and I took them to the aquatic center for the afternoon to give Papa some peace and quiet. It was so much fun and after 16 years I was able to get into the pool too, thanks to a wonderful lift. What a wonderful time. I hope we can do it again soon.
