gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.

Happy SUNDAY Everyone!

This is my favorite week of the year. My birthday and Independence Day. A week of cake and carnivals, parades and parties, food and fireworks. Over the weekend I went to the carnival a few times with my grandsons. I had purchased wristbands for unlimited rides for 3 days and they sure got my money’s worth. We also celebrated my birthday. Tonight the fireworks will fly and we can watch right from our driveway. Tomorrow we will be celebrating the holiday with family to watch a parade, eat some fantastic food and another fireworks show. I am especially excited because my granddaughter and her mom will join the fun too. This is one of the hardest weeks to be without Kris and last year I just couldn’t celebrate but with family around we will get through it again together this year.
