The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Happy SUNDAY Everyone!
Well this was an interesting week. First thing Monday morning I was off to the doctor for my lower back pain and was diagnosed with sciatica. Given a variety of medications, shown some exercises, that are hard to do with one side, the sore side, mostly paralyzed, and was told swimming was a good thing to help me through this but could also have been what caused it. You may remember a couple of weeks ago I told you I was able to get back into a pool after 16 years. Using muscles that have not been used a lot lately.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week was rough, needed to take the big pain pills and spent limited time at the computer. By Thursday was feeling better and am working the schedule advised of 2 hours at the computer followed by 1 hour of rest. I will be continuing that schedule for awhile but will still try to get all my blog and tour work done. I did miss my Flashback Friday post this week just because I ran out of time but it should return this week if I continue to improve with no major relapses. Fingers and toes crossed.

Take care.
Along the Infinite Sea is on my TBR. It sounds fantastic! I hope the sciatica gets better and that the swimming helps. I had some trouble with that when I was pregnant but was lucky in that went away and I most definitely hope it never returns! Take care of yourself and have a great week!
Glad to hear you’re doing better!!!
I’m hopeful you continue to improve, Lori. I recently had muscle spasms in my back after prolonged use of a weed eater. Now I have a problem even using the vacuum cleaner as I use those same muscles. I can definitely feel your pain and will never scoff at someone for complaining about theirs. Don’t overdue no matter how tempted you are:)

Nothing like good old sciatica! Dealing with it since the 70s :(if the modality helps, do it! Yes, swimming really works . Good luck!
So sorry to hear you are in pain. Praying for relief.

I know how you feel. I had a fall and hurt mine too. I ended up with an ablation, where they electrocute the nerve and it helped a lot. I hope you are feeling better soon.
