The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Happy SUNDAY Everyone!
I keep finding myself distracted at the computer these days. I do 90% of my Christmas shopping online. This year due to everyone’s schedules we are not having our immediate family celebration until January 7. I have found several bargains, in fact I impressed myself with my shopping at J.C. Penney yesterday for my oldest grandson. I saved over $200 before my Ebates and Swagbucks plus earned store rewards.
I am done shopping for my youngest son and husband too. Mr. Dollycas received 1 gift early, a new recliner. The girls are a little harder to shop for and I keep thinking since we are celebrating so late this year should I wait on some of their the grandkids gifts and shop the after holiday sales. I keep going to sites and filling my carts but just can’t push the “place order” button. I am definitely overthinking this as I keep leaving my blog and tour work to check “just one more place” or “look one more time”.
Before my accident Mr. Dollycas and I would grab our lists and do all the shopping in one day and then have a wonderful dinner out. These days he isn’t as mobile and I clog up the aisles in my wheelchair so we can no longer divide the list, head in different directions like we used to. Plus with me having only one working hand all the wrapping falls into my youngest daughter’s and husband’s laps, so I just shop, shop, shop, and they take care of the boxes and bags that show up at the door. Of course my daughter shops too and has her own stuff to wrap. At least this year they will have a little extra time 🙂
P.S. If you not signed up for Ebates and Swagbucks I encourage you to do so. It is so easy and I have earned cash back and points for gift cards the last few years that allowed me to get extra gifts or something just for me.

That Jim Carrey! LOL I have stuff in my cart too but waiting until after Christmas to order it. Just some Christmas stuff that I know will go on sale after the holiday. I’m not sure I can help about ordering now or later. If you think the orders will still arrive in time, I’d hold off just a bit in case you catch a discount again.
My Sunday Post
I usually do all of my Christmas shopping online, but this year I’m going to venture out to the stores during the mad last minute rush because I spent all my money vetting up my kittens for the last few months.
Glad you got your Christmas shopping done early! I really need to get my Christmas Shopping done!
I think I was eye-rolling today when my hubby was spinning out of control because he couldn’t find the extension cord for his Christmas lights. Poor guy. Double death.
Shopping online is the best way to shop. I hate overcrowded stores. I’m doing all my holiday shopping online this year.
