  1. I’ve read so many good ones this year that I can’t just pick one. Between Laura Bradford’s A Churn for the Worse, Duffy Brown’s Braking for Bodies, Diane Vallere’s A Disguise to Die For, My list goes on and on.

  2. Not entering the contest.
I can barely list my top 10. No way I can choose one. This is the best I can do. Abstract Aliases (Bodies of Art, #3) Ritter Ames
Breaking (SEAL Team Heartbreakers Book 6) Teresa J Reasor
Destroyer Angel (Anna Pigeon, #18) Barr, Nevada
Devious Minds (Shelby Nichols #8) Colleen Helme
The Dirt on Ninth Grave (Charley Davidson, #9) Darynda Jones
No Strings Attached (Lexi Carmichael Mystery, #8) Julie Moffett
Scared Money (Savannah Martin Mysteries Book 13) Jenna Bennett

  3. Happy New Year! My favorite non-cozy was Cajun Waltz by Robert Patton. Favorite cozies were A Dark and Stormy Murder by Julia Buckley; Death of a Toy Soldier by Barbara Early; To Helvetica and Back by Paige Shelton and Fogged Over by Barbara Ross…

  4. I had 3 reads in 2016 that blew my mind. The first 2 were Empire of Storms and A Court of Mist and Fury, both by Sarah J. Maas. The other book was Hunt the Dawn by Abbie Roads.

  5. Although I could list a whole bunch of books as favorites for the year, I’ll go with the most recent series of books discovered, the Detective Lavender Mysteries. They are: The Heiress of Linn Hagh, The Sans Pareil Mystery, and The Sculthorpe Murder.

  6. I had very little time to read this last year but the current book I am reading is an older title but good so far. Meg by Steve Alten.

  7. My favorite book was “Spouse on Haunted Hill” by EJ Copperman. Absolutely love this series…it keeps getting better with each book.

  8. There were so many good cozy mysteries that I enjoyed this year, but I think my favorite is a tie between Lynn Cahoon’s A Story to Kill and Julia Buckley’s A Dark and Stormy Murder. Both of these were firsts in new series and new to me authors.

  9. I read and reviewed over 200 books this year so choosing a favorite is almost impossible. So, if you don’t mind, I would like to list just a few of my favorites:

THE ROYAL NANNY – Karen Harper
MY FAIR PRINCESS – Vanessa Kelly
    THE WIDOW – Fiona Barton
THE SUMMER BRIDE – Anne Gracie

  10. My!, a favorite is hard to pick. I’ve read so many new authors along with my regulars. I was glad to be introduced to so many new authors- mostly cozy. Thanks to this blog & many more.
Thank you for the opportunity. I really am enjoying Leighann Dobbs, Nancy J. Cohen, Karen Rose Smith, Kathi Daley, Lynn Cahoon, Ann Myers, Mollie Cox Bryan, Caroline Fardig, Joanne Fluke, Iris Johansen, Duffy Brown, Sandra Bretting, Jenn McKinlay, JoAnn Carl, G. A. McKevett, J.A. Jance& Cheryl Hollon

  11. This is a very tough question to answer. I had a difficult time narrowing it down to m Top 10 Books of 2016 for a blog post but I think for my all time favorite of 2016 I am going to have to go with The Infernal Devices Trilogy. Those books are Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince, and Clockwork Princess. I read all three of those books for the first time this year and I absolutely loved them.

  12. Very hard to pick from all my favorites but of new authors to me it would be The Big Chili by Julia Buckley!!!!!

  13. There are several author’s books that I have enjoyed reading but the books that I always snatch up is Joyce and Jim Lavene’s books. Anyone who ever read one of their books and got to know them fell in love with their style of writing. The Retired Witches Mysteries are one of my favorites.

  14. I had too many favorites to narrow it down, I can say my favorite genre for 2016 was cozy mysteries.

  15. That’s hard to choose. I loved HY Hanna’s Oxford Tearoom Mysteries, Kathi Daley’s Wales and Tails Mysteries, Catherine Bruns’ Cookies & Chance Mysteries, Jenny Kales’ Callie’s Kitchen Mysteries, Tonya Kappes Ghostly Southern Mysteries, Jeri Westerson’s Historical fiction, Barbara Venkataraman’s Jamie Quinn series, and Jennifer David Hesse’s Wiccan Wheel Mysteries…. In 2016, I discovered the pleasures of audiobooks, delightful blogs, about a hundred new authors and series, and was lucky galore winning many giveaways. 2016 was a good year!

  16. Although, not a cozy, I really enjoyed Abigail Adams by Woody Holton. In the cozy genre, I loved Plaster and Poison (A Do-It-Yourself Mystery #3) by Jennie Bentley.

  17. I could never pick just one. LOL So I’ll say my favorite is the next book in a series I’m reading at the moment. Always fun to revisit characters.

  18. I really loved the Sarah Winston Garage Sale Mysteries by Sherry Harris. I couldn’t put them down. My favorite series that I read as e-books was the Papa Pacelli’s Pizzeria series by Patti Benning. I am constantly checking Amazon for new books!

  19. Everything by Gina LaManna, the Marlowe and Sage mysteries by Lee Strauss and the Bombay Family mysteries by Leslie Langtry also her girl scout mysterier – Oh My I could go aon and on!

  20. I have read way too many to pick one favorite. I am just getting into cozies so I don’t have a favorite yet. I really like The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware.

  21. I love all of them but having just finished Egg Drop Dead, The Cackleberry Club series by Laura Childs, I have to say this is one of my very favorite books & series.

  22. One of my favorite reads of 2016 was “All You Need is Fudge” by Nancy Coco. Love cozies, have lots of favorite authors and series.

  23. Oh, how to choose?! My favorite cozy was probably Julia Buckley’s A Dark and Stormy Murder. My favorite non-cozy was The Elf by Max Dune.

  24. Home With My Sisters by Mary Carter was a memorable 2016 read for me. Thanks for giveaway.

  25. I really enjoyed The Cure for Dreaming by Cat Winters. But I also had fun reading The Worst Witch series by Jill Murphy. I grew up watching the movie, and I realized last year it was a series of books. It’s like the witch version of Ramona Quimby. Thanks for having the giveaway!

  26. My favorite book I read in 2016 was Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. The twist in this book was ridiculously good. Loved it! Thanks for the giveaway 🙂
