My favorite books are cozy mysteries…can’t get enough of them.
I’ve read so many good ones this year that I can’t just pick one. Between Laura Bradford’s A Churn for the Worse, Duffy Brown’s Braking for Bodies, Diane Vallere’s A Disguise to Die For, My list goes on and on.

Two by Two Nicholas Sparks. Have A wonderful New Year!
I had 3 reads in 2016 that blew my mind. The first 2 were Empire of Storms and A Court of Mist and Fury, both by Sarah J. Maas. The other book was Hunt the Dawn by Abbie Roads.
Although I could list a whole bunch of books as favorites for the year, I’ll go with the most recent series of books discovered, the Detective Lavender Mysteries. They are: The Heiress of Linn Hagh, The Sans Pareil Mystery, and The Sculthorpe Murder.
I had very little time to read this last year but the current book I am reading is an older title but good so far. Meg by Steve Alten.
It’s so hard to narrow down to one but AGreat Reckoning by Louise Penny was wonderful.
My favorite book was “Spouse on Haunted Hill” by EJ Copperman. Absolutely love this series…it keeps getting better with each book.
It is hard to choose one but Midnight Can be Murder by Blanche Day Manos is one.

My favorite read for 2016 was Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys.
There were so many good cozy mysteries that I enjoyed this year, but I think my favorite is a tie between Lynn Cahoon’s A Story to Kill and Julia Buckley’s A Dark and Stormy Murder. Both of these were firsts in new series and new to me authors.

I read and reviewed over 200 books this year so choosing a favorite is almost impossible. So, if you don’t mind, I would like to list just a few of my favorites:

This is a very tough question to answer. I had a difficult time narrowing it down to m Top 10 Books of 2016 for a blog post but I think for my all time favorite of 2016 I am going to have to go with The Infernal Devices Trilogy. Those books are Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince, and Clockwork Princess. I read all three of those books for the first time this year and I absolutely loved them.
Very hard to pick from all my favorites but of new authors to me it would be The Big Chili by Julia Buckley!!!!!
There are several author’s books that I have enjoyed reading but the books that I always snatch up is Joyce and Jim Lavene’s books. Anyone who ever read one of their books and got to know them fell in love with their style of writing. The Retired Witches Mysteries are one of my favorites.

My favorite read of 2016 was The Lady and the Lionheart by Joanne Bischof.
That’s hard to choose. I loved HY Hanna’s Oxford Tearoom Mysteries, Kathi Daley’s Wales and Tails Mysteries, Catherine Bruns’ Cookies & Chance Mysteries, Jenny Kales’ Callie’s Kitchen Mysteries, Tonya Kappes Ghostly Southern Mysteries, Jeri Westerson’s Historical fiction, Barbara Venkataraman’s Jamie Quinn series, and Jennifer David Hesse’s Wiccan Wheel Mysteries…. In 2016, I discovered the pleasures of audiobooks, delightful blogs, about a hundred new authors and series, and was lucky galore winning many giveaways. 2016 was a good year!
One of my favorites this year was Midsummer Night’s Mischief by Jennifer David Hesse.
Too many to decide. Love all of Kathi Daley’s books and Kate Carlisle.
There were so many good ones this year but I really loved Annabel Lee by Mike Nappa.

So many. Really enjoyed Diane Vallere;s Samantha Kidd series.
Although, not a cozy, I really enjoyed Abigail Adams by Woody Holton. In the cozy genre, I loved Plaster and Poison (A Do-It-Yourself Mystery #3) by Jennie Bentley.
I could never pick just one. LOL So I’ll say my favorite is the next book in a series I’m reading at the moment. Always fun to revisit characters.

I really loved the Sarah Winston Garage Sale Mysteries by Sherry Harris. I couldn’t put them down. My favorite series that I read as e-books was the Papa Pacelli’s Pizzeria series by Patti Benning. I am constantly checking Amazon for new books!
Everything by Laura Childs and I’m enjoying Louise Penny’s Chief Inspector Gamache series.
Everything by Gina LaManna, the Marlowe and Sage mysteries by Lee Strauss and the Bombay Family mysteries by Leslie Langtry also her girl scout mysterier – Oh My I could go aon and on!
I have read way too many to pick one favorite. I am just getting into cozies so I don’t have a favorite yet. I really like The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware.
I love all of them but having just finished Egg Drop Dead, The Cackleberry Club series by Laura Childs, I have to say this is one of my very favorite books & series.
One of my favorite reads of 2016 was “All You Need is Fudge” by Nancy Coco. Love cozies, have lots of favorite authors and series.
It’s hard to choose one favorite, but I’ll go with one I read recently by a new-to-me author: The Other Sister.

I really enjoyed The Cure for Dreaming by Cat Winters. But I also had fun reading The Worst Witch series by Jill Murphy. I grew up watching the movie, and I realized last year it was a series of books. It’s like the witch version of Ramona Quimby. Thanks for having the giveaway!
