The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
It seems every year my family catches a bug to ring in the new year. Mr. Dollycas woke up December 26 coughing and slowly it made its way to our youngest daughter and son. I was doing so good avoiding it. Then Monday I had a tickle in my throat, by Tuesday night the coughing and nose running became constant. Wednesday was bad, Thursday was worse, Friday medication started to work, but I started coughing late in the night and couldn’t kick it. Saturday I was tired due to lack of sleep, but some TLC and different cold medicine is making me feel a little better. Hopefully today it is on its way out of this house.
I hope 2017 if off to a good start for all of you. Reading great stories and sharing them with others. I am really looking forward to so many books this year. Several new books are showing up in my Facebook News Feed or my email inbox. I know I won’t be able to read them all this year but I am going to try. Do you have a book on your must read list for 2017? I know I have so many I am not able to choose just one.
