The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
Happy Sunday Everyone!
History Takes Flight
Saturday was a day full of fun!
We started the day watching Kaden play football. Then we watched Natalie play soccer. Then we filled two vehicles and headed to Oshkosh to spend the afternoon at the EAA Aviation Museum. It is one of the most extensive aviation attractions in the world. Fun was had by all. It seems we are all kids at heart when it comes to airplanes. No one actually went up in a plane. Kaden was offered a free ride but was not interested. Free rides are available for kids ages 8-17, so we have plenty of years for them to fly. The adult rides are $75 each so we will know that and plan accordingly next time. We had to laugh, the museum is only 45 minutes from our house and only Mr. Dollycas has been there before. I attended EAA AIRVENTURE when I was in college or as the grandkids say “back in the old days”. That is a week long event and planes fly in from all over. After we saw as much as we could we headed to Johnny Rockets for dinner. Then home where the grandkids spent the night. I love these family outings, I hope our angel was watching.

What a fantastic day! I’ll have to keep the air museum in mind. That sounds really fun. I read Double Whammy recently and really enjoyed it. I hope you do too! Have a great week!
