The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
Happy Sunday Everyone!
My husband made huge strides this week. Additions of real food continued and by Friday the IVs were all removed. He can now take his pain medication orally, but the pain has really diminished only increasing after he eats when the stomach and pancreas need to do their work. The doctors are very pleased with his progress. While he is very rundown we hope he will be able to come home late next week. It will take time to regain his strength and may need some physical therapy. It is going to be a while before he will be able to return to work. I will just be happy to have him home. I knew he was better as soon as he requested his laptop so I am hoping he will be posting about himself on Facebook soon.

Good morning and Happy Sunday. Great news about hubby and you both are in my thoughts and prayers.
I’m happy you have good news about your husband and hoping he has a speedy recovery, Lori. I’m sure you and he will both be happy when he can come home:)
So pleased on your husband’s progress! I’m sure he’s ready to be back on his feet and you’re ready to have him home. What a fantastic group of books you got this week to keep you busy in the meantime! I think all of them are on my TBR. Have a great week!
