The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.

After 6 weeks Mr. Dollycas returns to work tomorrow! Because he has a desk job his doctor has cleared him to return to work but he must listen to his body and rest as needed. He will need to have a procedure in 3 to 4 months to remove any fluid that remains around the pancreas. He has lost a bunch of weight and needs to follow a strict diet. I am excited not only because he is feeling better but because it will be just the me and the dogs again during a few hours a day. It is amazing how distracting it has been with him around the house. There will be some adjustment because the dogs have gotten pretty spoiled with him here. They don’t like to let him out of their site. Today also happens to be his birthday!
