The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
Happy Sunday Everyone!

It was a quiet week around here and it felt so good. My Dollycas went back to work on Monday and the dogs and I got back to our normal routine. Me at the computer and them napping and saving me from the dreaded mail carrier who had the nerve to put mail in our mailbox. Since Oreo has lost her hearing Nerabelle was the clear instigator. The UPS man wasn’t even noticed when he dropped a package later in the day 🙂
I read some good books, watched some stupid television, CBS isn’t even trying to hide how blatantly Big Brother is rigged this year. Daughter #2 is thrilled Cody is back in the game, me, not at all. So if I stop watching that I will have even more time to read which I would rather do anyway.
How was your week?

Still working on my quest to smile more. July 15 marked 28 months since my son took his life. It has been a hard month, both my birthday and Mr. Dollycas’ birthday are in July, Independence Day and we always used to have a family fun day in July. All times that we get together with family shines a bright light that Kris is missing at least physically. We all carry him in our hearts. The grandchildren always make me smile though.
I hope you all have an amazing week!

Those all look like great summer reads. Thanks for sharing them with us.
