The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an informal week in review
gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.

This has been a strange summer. With Mr. Dollycas’ hospital stay and recovery we lost 2 months of summer plans. We try to have at least 3 “Family Fun Days” to the lake, or the zoo or the water park. None of those have happened. The weekends have been unusually quiet too without any grandkids here to visit. Natalie was here a couple weeks ago but I have seen the boys since the 4th of July. I am missing them all like crazy. Mr. Dollycas is starting to feel better so we have planned the first Family Fun Day of summer to a wildlife park that we have wanted to visit since Kaden went there on a school field trip two years ago. I still have to wait a week for the trip but I am so excited. I may get to see the boys next weekend for the Waupun Truck-N-Show but those plans are still up in the air but my fingers and toes are crossed. 🙂
