The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
It was rainy, the field was muddy, Kaden hurt his finger and they lost, but we still had fun. It was Kaden’s last football game of the year and they finished the season 4 – 2. The kids have improved so much over the past 6 weeks. Kaden can’t wait until next year and neither can I. In fact, if his mom Katy has her way, Kaden’s brother Remi and his cousin, Natalie will start their football careers next year. Just watching them play on the sidelines yesterday I can already see Natalie is quite a passer and Remi could be a great receiver with a little coaching. Natalie did play soccer last Spring but thinking football may be a better fit 🙂 I see a lot of time on the sidelines in my future and that makes me smile. Some of my best memories are sitting in the bleachers watching my kids play baseball, basketball, volleyball and soccer, and I am thrilled to start making new sports memories with my grandchildren no matter what sport they play.
