20 Quick Questions with Jonnie Jacobs
Favorite Color – Lavender. But most of what I own (clothing and furnishings) is neutral -black, brown or gray. Go figure.
Favorite Candy – I rarely eat candy, but can always be tempted with a piece of Sees – dark chocolate only.
Favorite Snack – Nuts
Favorite Soft Drink – Seltzer water with lime
Favorite Hard Drink – My go-to is a glass of wine but I love mixed drinks like the mojito, lemon drop, margarita, and the totally decadent pina colada.
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor – Coffee or vanilla
Favorite Movie – No favorite but I enjoy mystery and crime dramas, and quirky movies like Little Miss Sunshine and Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. My most memorable movie was The King and I. It was my first movie ever, and we sat in a grand old theater with a live organist who played before the show started. Sheer magic to a child.
I love The King and I too!
Favorite TV Show –Believe it or not, I don’t have a television.
Favorite Book – Impossible choice.
Favorite Fictional Character – Ditto.
Favorite Super Hero – Gosh, the only one I’m actually familiar with is Superman.
Favorite Singer/Group/Band –I favor the classic rock music of the ‘60s and ‘70s and the country/bluegrass music from the same era (probably because that’s what I grew up with.)
Favorite Carnival Ride –Anything tame like the Merry-Go-Round or Ferris Wheel. I’m a wimp when it comes to roller coasters and such.
Favorite Spring Activity – Evening walks when the air is sweet with spring blossoms.

Favorite Summer Activity – Hiking, and then spending the afternoon reading.
Favorite Fall Activity – I’m generally energized to clean out and organize (although very little of it actually gets done), and to get back to hobbies like quilting and knitting.
Favorite Winter Activity – Sitting in a comfy chair by a big fire and a book.
Favorite Place to Read – Outside in the shade on a warm summer day.

Favorite Place to Write – My study (AKA spare bedroom I’ve homesteaded as my own.)
Dream Vacation Destination – I’ve travelled a lot but the list of places I’d like to go keeps growing.
