The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Merry Christmas Eve!
Today holds many feelings. Christmas Eve was my mother’s birthday. I miss her every day. It also marks the start of our 3rd Christmas without our son, Kristopher. I recently found this picture of him. He has dressed up as Santa at work. I would give anything to look into those eyes again and see the true smile under than white beard. The holidays are hard but we know we carry Kris in our hearts and that he is watching over us. I am praying the family get-togethers a just a little easier this year.
There was an important event this past week. Our youngest grandson turned 5. The boy wanted to go bowling, so that’s what we did. Well, I watched. Mr. Dollycas hasn’t bowled for years but he did pretty well with a 181. So did Remi and Kaden.
