The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Well, my day yesterday did not go as planned. I have been excited for weeks about attending my granddaughter’s dance recital. But my body had other plans. My sciatica decided it was the day to rear its ugly head and by 10 a.m. I couldn’t even straighten up let alone get out of the house. So Papa and Aunt Z.Z. left without me. I spent the day in bed reading and watching Barbara Bush’s funeral and other stuff on television. When my husband got home he helped me to the computer so I could write this post. I am hoping this sciatica resolves a lot quicker than the last time I had it.
While I didn’t get to see her dance in person I do know she did a wonderful job. Here is one of the portraits in her costume. I hope her daddy was watching from heaven.

Have a great week!!

Praying for relief from you pain. I know only all too well how rough living with pain can be. Your granddaughter is beautiful and I know she did fabulous in her dance recital. With her Dad in her heart, I know he was there. <3
Sure hope the sciatica clears up fast! It’s awful when you’ve planned for something for forever and the body says “nope, no can do”! I’m sure she did a beautiful job. Hopefully someone was able to take a video for you.
Hang in there, and hope you heal fast!
Your granddaughter looks adorable in her costume but I’m sorry to hear you weren’t able to attend the recital. Sciatica is nasty business but hopefully you’re feeling a little better. Hope you’re having a great week!
