The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
He’s Back
It was just 2 weeks ago that I wrote how my Sundays had changed since Matt Kenseth was no longer racing in the Nascar Cup Series. Well, early last week it was leaked and then announced on Wednesday that Matt would be sharing driving duties with Trevor Bayne in the #6 car owned by Roush Fenway Racing for the remainder of the 2018 season. Trevor does have MS so how much this decision comes from his health concerns is yet to be said. I and the rest of Matt’s fans are so excited to have him back on the track where he belongs. His first race will be May 12 at Kansas. This appears to be a multi-year deal that could lead to a career off the track at Roush when Matt is ready to retire. Details were still being worked out when the press conference was held on Wednesday. I am glad to see Matt back at Roush where he started and ready to watch races again. I will also be needing some new fan apparel.
On the homefront. I am still dealing with the pain in my backside, sciatica. 🙂 The doctor has prescribed rest and ibuprofen. Rest is not easy with my blog and book tours but I am trying to get as much rest as possible. I know rest helps because I do feel better in the evenings, but mornings are pretty painful. It is on the side of my paralysis so that makes things extra interesting. I just hope it passes soon, so I can get back to normal or what normal is usually like for me.
