The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Last weekend was full of family fun!
Natalie played her first softball game.
Our grandnephew Dakota turned 6!
And on Sunday we spent the day at the zoo!
This week was spent catching up after taking 2 whole days off. That and dealing with a Microsoft Update that really created havoc with all my Microsoft Office documents and spreadsheets. I had to do a system restore to get them back and then Thursday night the update ran again calling for another 2-hour system restore. Contacted Microsoft and they weren’t much help. The first person said it was a Windows problem and transferred me to a second that said it was an office problem and transferred me back. I hung up, but have an email to contact them when it happens again. A techy friend also gave us some things to look for. Microsoft also sent me a survey asking if I would recommend their Window 10 to my friends. Not likely, after this week.
Kaden did come home from the zoo with us. It was so nice having him here. Even with his broken arm, he can still play his video games. I had a few memory flashes of Kris. Kaden tells me all about his games just the way Kris used to. He gets involved in the games just like Kris used to too. Kris didn’t have headphones and a mic at Kaden’s age. I don’t even know if there were available way back when. Kris did have them when he was older and Kaden sounds just like he did then. We also had a fun time together doing other things. We should have had a video of us trying to use the manual can opener. Me with my 1 good hand and he with his. We gave up and had sandwiches 🙂

Yay for family fun. Looks like some wonderful times. I am loving all the cozies in your pile!
What cute pictures of the kids and the zoo trip looks fun! You’ve gotten so many great books this week. Have a great week and enjoy your reading!
Happy birthday, Dakota! It sounds like you’ve been busy. Sorry about the update problems. My computer had that update, too, but it didn’t mess up too much of my stuff. I always worry about updates because they sometimes break more than they fix. Have a good week!
Glad all of you enjoyed the zoo.
I’m sorry about the update problems! I’m always scared of updates because I feel like they break things that don’t need to get fixed.
I hope you have a wonderful week!
