informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.

Pool – Parade – Fun
It was a very crazy week around here. Both Mr. Dollycas and Daughter #1 were on vacation. I still had to work on my blog and book tours. Daughter #2 and Son #2 had to work as well.
Mr. Dollycas arrived home Saturday afternoon from mowing his mother’s yard with our grandsons. After a quick stop here they headed to the aquatic center.
Their mom arrived on Sunday for my birthday and to enjoy the fireworks the city set off in my honor, well not really, but it happens about every seven years. 🙂 The next two evenings were spent watching movies with my girls while Papa entertained the boys, they even squeezed in another trip to the pool. We watched Girl’s Trip
We all spent the holiday at my mother-in-law’s and at a friend’s house to watch the parade. A very special little girl and her mom were handing out candy along the route. It was hot, hot, hot, but a heavy afternoon rain shower cooled us off and didn’t put a damper on the fun. The evening finished with another round of city fireworks. We departed for home but the kids stay to enjoy fireworks os their own.
The rest of the week was pretty quiet. Mr. Dollycas puttered with things around here and I got back to work. He is back at his mom’s today (Saturday) mowing so he may show up with a boy or two. I just have to wait and see.
