informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.

I had a great week. Things got back to normal with Mr. Dollycas returning to work. Kaden was here for the first part of the week but I think he was here more for the XBox, not me 🙂 That was o.k. I was able to get caught up on my blog and book tours.
Saturday morning I went to watch Natalie play softball. She and the other girls have really improved over the past few weeks. Mr. Dollycas says Natalie has it in her genes. He was quite a baseball player back in the day. Even tried out for the pros. Kris didn’t play many sports when he was younger but her aunts and uncle sure did. I am sure he is watching over her with a huge smile on his face. Can’t believe today marks 40 months since we lost him.
Facebook – Blog News
I have been doing a lot of tweaking to the images in my posts. You may have noticed the book covers are bigger. That is so when it automatically posts to Google the cover image is grabbed instead of something from my sidebars.
I also thought I had Buffer set up to take place of the auto-posting that was done previously by Networked Blogs, but I learned last week that Facebook is changing their rules. 3rd parties like WordPress and Buffer will no longer be allowed to auto post to personal Facebook pages after July 26. WordPress and Buffer will still be able to post to Pages like Escape With Dollycas Into A Good Book’s Fan Page. Facebook wants are personal pages to be just that and any “business” posts to be on Fan or Business Pages. I will manually share some posts on my personal page but don’t want to break any rules. So, if you are my friend on Facebook be sure to also follow the Escape With Dollycas Into A Good Book’s Fan Page too for blog and book news. I also host a monthly giveaway on the page.
