The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
My week started out great, I am feeling much better.
Then Daughter #1 called on Wednesday to tell me she has been injured at work the day before and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. She works with the developmentally disabled and loves her job. It takes a special kind of individual for this job and she knows what happened to her is one of the risks. She was home when she called and is following a concussion protocol and will be going to physical therapy for a tweaked neck. She hopes to return to work soon. Thanks to our governor they are understaffed and underpaid. I would like for him to work just one of her shifts so he could see how wrong he is.
I was able to see her in person yesterday at our nephew’s 30th birthday party. Still a little stiff but improving. Happy Birthday, Darrell!!!
We had a great time at the party and the grandkids had a blast too. Of course, all 3 came home with us for a sleepover. Time spent with family always makes a great day!
Also this week, Kaden had his youth football night. All I know is he is growing way to fast. He is doing really well. He has been given the nickname of Diesel. “Can’t go through him, can’t go around him.” He is on his way to being a great offensive or defensive lineman. His first scrimmage is next Saturday with games the following 6 weekends. Nana and Papa will be hitting the road to hopefully catch every one of them.
And Natalie arrived home from Florida, she missed us all, but she had an awesome time at the beach!

Sending prayers to your daughter! I agree with you, it does take a special kind of individual to work with special needs kids and adults. These workers deserve better pay!
