The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
It’s that time of year when we start working hard to finish up our Reading Challenges and start to plan our challenges for next year. I know I will be hosting the Alphabet Soup Reading Challenge, the Literary Escapes Reading Challenge, and the Craving for Cozies Challenge again. I will be adding the Author Edition of Alphabet Soup Challenge which will use the author’s name instead of the book title.
I have been doing well on most of my challenges this year but I have two I probably won’t complete. I will definitely have traveled to 42 states and 6 places abroad for the Literary Escapes Challenges but may not be able to squeeze in the rest of the destinations. I also overcommitted on the Strictly Print Challenge. I thought I would read as many print as digital books this year but that has not been the case. I love my Kindle Paperwhite and it has been reading much more digitally, plus publishers are moving away even more from sending print copies for review.
Do you participate in Reading Challenges? How are you doing this year? Do you have any ideas for new challenges?
You can see all my challenges and my progress here.

I hope you have an amazing week!!!

My reading challenges this year are not going to plan at all but I’m not too bothered. I used to get wound up about things like that but this year decided to try not to get so upset about things… I succeed at THAT challenge most of the time. 🙂
I have really tanked on my challenges this year — something I talked about in this week’s Sunday Post. I think I need to take a break from challenges and try to get back to just reading for the fun of it.
That is a lot of challenges. How do you find time to complete them up? I am participating in just one, A- Z reading Challenge. And trust me, I have not finished it.
