Pumpkin Hunting
Looking out the window and in the driveway last Sunday it seemed like the perfect day to make a family trip to the pumpkin patch. Many other people had the same idea, the place was packed. But when we arrived there was a real chill to the air and the wind was brutal. It didn’t matter to the grandkids. There was so much for them to do at this farm. All the activities and running around kept them perfectly warm. The adult kids handled it better than Mr. Dollycas and I but we wouldn’t have missed this trip for anything. We didn’t go with them on the hayride to the fields to pick their pumpkins, instead headed into the store to get caramel apples for the grands and apple cider and apple pie to bring home. Even with the wind, you can see we had a good time.
