The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Tours – Women – Snow – The Grinch
This week was full both on the blog and at home. In addition to my usual blog posts, Great Escapes Book Tours had over 10 tours running, most with more than 1 stop per day. I appreciated that my body did not adjust quickly to the time change because I needed that extra hour each morning to promote all the stops.
Then we had the election on Tuesday and I was impressed by the number of woma\en running and winning. It is time our representatives in Congress represent their constituents better and I think more women at the table is the first step, no matter what party they represent.
Also this week, snow arrived in central Wisconsin. While many people love the snow, I am not one of them. It seems like Autumn lasted only a couple of weeks before Old Man Winter roared in. Hopefully, his stay will be short and he will disappear right after the holidays.
And speaking of the holidays, we loaded up the family trucksters last night and headed to the movie theater to see The Grinch! Great Family Fun! It will become an annual watch!

I hope you have an amazing week!

Boy! I’m with you on the snow. We moved from IL to TN and avoiding snow was a big part of that. Live in the foothills of the Smokies now, though, so we still get a bit now and then. At least it’s much more mild and disappears fast.
Hope you have a mild winter and a great holiday season with the relatives, especially the grands!

Maybe moving is in my future 🙂
I was delighted with the number of women running and elected, too. I’m pleased to see Congress inching toward becoming more representative of the wide diversity in our country – in race, gender, religion, and orientation.
Fall feels short here, too. It seemed like we jumped from summer into late fall without the usual month of lovely 60-degree temperatures. We’re still not in winter here (though tonight it feels like it!), thank goodness. I’m not ready for snow yet.
I don’t know if I am going to see the New Grinch movie. I think it has been played out. Can’t they come up with some new ones. It is one of my favorite christmas stories but still. Have a great week.

I’m also happy to have more women in government no matter what their politics. It’s all so stressful now. I like snow for skiing and Christmas but otherwise, eh. I agree autumn is just too short this year. I hope you’ll fit in some good reading. I’m busy with HoHoHoRAT which is mostly holiday romances and will be glad of other genres after this week.
