This challenge focuses on the huge number of books on our TO-BE-READ shelves.
I am again signing up at the Mt. Vancouver Level: Read 36 books from your TBR pile/s.
That is the number that works best for me. I will feature these books on #FlashbackFridays.
*Books must be owned by you prior to January 1, 2019. No library books~. If you’re looking for a library book challenge or one that counts books on your non-owned TBR list, then please see Bev’s new Virtual Mount TBR Challenge.

This challenge is focused on finally finishing those series that you’ve started but not yet completed.
#FinishingTheSeries2019
This year I finished the C-List (1-4 Series) and it was easier than I thought,
so next year I will be joining the challenges at the B-List (5-8 Series).
This Challenge is hosted by Celebrity Readers.

Do you want to challenge yourself to read more NetGalley/Edelweiss books?
In 2018 I did this challenge wrong and counted every book I read on NetGalley and Edelweiss. My percentage didn’t change and probably won’t this year because I keep adding more books. 🙂 In 2019 I am going to use this challenge to pare down the oldest books in my queue. Signing up at the Bronze – 10 Books because reading just 10 of those books would be an accomplishment.
This challenge is hosted by Reading Between the Pages.

Announcing Print Only Reading Challenge! I had to join Strictly Print hosted by Book Dragon’s Lair, she has been inactive since 2017 but I loved her challenge so I decided to do my own spin on it. Hence, Print Only! Print Only is very simple, just read as many physical books as you can. These can be books you’ve purchased, sent, or borrowed! As long as it is a physical book, then it counts. #PrintOnlyRC19
In 2018, I had the rude awakening that I was not reading as many print books as I used to so I didn’t reach my goal. This new host has set levels differently and I am going to reach for the stars and sign up at the 41+ – Collector’s Edition Level,
The challenge is hosted by As Told By Tina.

Announcing For The Love Of EBooks Reading Challenge! I had to join EBooks Reading Challenge hosted by Book Dragon’s Lair but she hasn’t been active since 2017. So I decided to do my own spin on her challenge hence For The Love Of EBooks was born! #ForTheLoveOfBooks19
I am so happy this challenge has a new host. I am signing up at the – Phase 5- 40+ books

You can read any book that is from the mystery/suspense/thriller/crime genres.
Any sub-genres are welcome as long as they incorporate one of these genres.
Since I personally don’t count the cozy mystery genre for this mystery challenge. I am signing up again at the 16-25 books – Detective Level.
This challenge is hosted by Books, Movies, Reviews. Oh my!

And of course, there is a challenge to keep track of all your challenges because reading challenges can be quite addicting.
I have not seen a 2019 What’s in a Word Challenge or a Page Number Challenge but will be watching for them. I will also be participating in the GoodReads Challenge and my personal challenge of reading at least 10 books set in Wisconsin or by Wisconsin Authors.
I will be posting by 2018 Challenge wrap up post soon. I can’t wait to get started on a new year of challenges. I will keep track of my progress on the Challenges page here on my blog.
Happy Reading!

Wow! I’m impressed. Go you! I’m participating in the Alphabet Soup Challenge and the Cozy Mystery Challenge. However, I going for Level 1. I was in Level 3 in 2018. Have fun and Happy reading! Merry Christmas.
So glad to have you Kathy!!!!
LOL I probably need another challenge like I need a hole in my head but hey you have one there that I haven’t seen (and trust me, I’ve seen a ton on different master lists) I’m definitely getting into the Finishing a Series challenge. I’d seen another one similar, but they required rereads which are fine, but take time. (you can say ‘you’re welcome’ it’s ok lol) Off to sign up for that challenge!
Tari, I know what you mean. I seem to sign up for more every year. LOL
What’s been addicting for me is how they can overlap and count for each other. Last year I had no clue what I was doing in challenges. This year I am doing a little bit of pre-planning 😉
