The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
You can also link up weekly on Readerbuzz.

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
NEVER FORGET!!
Busy weekend here. We started out at Natalie’s softball game and brought her home with us.
Our city has its Summer Festival this weekend instead of over the 4th of July. Daughter #1 wasn’t feeling well yesterday so we took Kaden and Natalie to the Aquatic Center. Sadly the handicap chair lift wasn’t working so I just dangled my legs over the side. The kids had fun. Hopefully, Daughter #1 and Remi will be up tomorrow and join us at the carnival. This year there is a special exhibit at the fair.
The 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit is a featured attraction. The Exhibit will allow folks to hear firsthand from FDNY firefighters of how events unfolded in front of them that day. The high-tech, 53-foot trailer, which transforms into an 1,100 square foot exhibit, provides folks an opportunity to explore artifacts from ground zero and listen to documentary videos and recordings of first responder radio transmissions. This is only the second time the Exhibit has visited the State of Wisconsin since it was created in 2013.
We are all looking forward to seeing the exhibit and sharing it with our grandchildren. Everyone remembers where they were that day and the horror we felt for the people lost, injured, and their families. The power of those first responders, many who died and many that are still dealing with severe medical issues. Those people that were running in to help while everyone else was running to save their lives. So courageous.
We will NEVER FORGET!

Wishing you a wonderful week!

None of us who lived through it will ever forget 9/11. But young people didn’t experience the trauma of the day. It is something none of us should ever forget.
Oh, the Jalapeño Cheddar Cornbread Murder sounds delicious. Hope there are good recipes!
Have a great week!
