The Sunday Salon used to be a meme but was getting so huge it became unmanageable, so it is now a Facebook group that has become an
informal week in review gathering place for bloggers.
It is also a place to share our thoughts about things of a bookish nature.
You can also link up weekly on Readerbuzz.
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

~ It’s a chance to share news~
A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!
Remembering Babs Hightower
Last Saturday evening heaven received another angel. Barbara Hightower of Babs Book Bistro left this earth much too soon.
Because of this wonderful internet, I had the pleasure of “meeting” Babs several years ago because we both blog about books. We shared the love of promoting good books and doing all we could to help authors. We shared our ideas and our thoughts on many topics and while we never met in person I am blessed to have called her my friend. She was always there to listen and jump in to help in any way she could. Babs had a real energy about her that traveled the miles between us. Her blog was a daily stop for me and I looked forward each month to Babs Bookmark, an e-magazine she published covering all genres. I still can’t believe she is gone. She was a true treasure and she will be greatly missed. Please keep her family in your prayers.

Smile and brighten someone’s day today!

I’m so sorry to learn of the loss of your friend, and another member of our book blogging community.
Wishing you a great reading week
I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your book friend, Babs. It seems to be our time of life, I think, with people leaving us frequently now. I’m glad Babs was such a light in your life. We never forget those who were so good to us, I think.
I like your quote. Life is simple, and I think it is about caring for others. I’m not sure why we make it so complicated either.
Babs was a lovely, giving person with a beautiful soul. She was a generous and enthusiastic booster for so many authors and for the joy of reading and literacy. Marc and I were socked and saddened to hear of her passing. Thank you for this tribute, Lori. We will all miss her greatly.
Love and prayers to her family especially.
