Christmas Carols
My week started out with joyful noise as we went to Natalie’s school for her Christmas concert. It was 5K – 2nd grade so our grand-nephew was performing too. It is so heartwarming to go back to the school where all our children attended. I also ran into a few friends from high school and other friends from the place we called home for most of our lives. Seeing my mother-in-law and other family is always icing on the cake,
The rest of the week was spent reading, blogging, and book tours along with as much online Christmas shopping as I could squeeze in. This time of year is always hard missing Son #1 like crazy. I do feel his presence in fact, sometimes I think he is messing with me. Silly things happen and he automatically comes to mind.
How was your week?

Have a great and fun-filled week and
try to keep a smile on your face in those crowded stores!

We have had a bug that has affected each member of my family this past week. Hopefully this week will be much better. Wishes for a wonderful holiday are sent your way.
Glad you had some family time. I always love looking at those cozy covers. Hope this is a good week!
What a fun time you had at the program. It’s so nice to get together with everyone.
We miss our lost loved ones so much at this time of year. Today at church the priest said the empty seats in church are filled with angels. It’s nice to imagine that there are angels around us.
I want to read a light book or two this week. You certainly have some fun reads.
Have a good week.
I’m looking forward to the End of Year presentation night at my children’s school this week.
Wishing you a great reading week
I remember school Christmas concerts. Those were always fun. Have a great week!
The Christmas concert sounds like it was fun.
Death on the Danube looks fun – and I like that it’s the first in a series.
